Your rights and warranty

At House Journey, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products and we comply with Australian Consumer Law. Here is what you need to know about our warranty period:

  1. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law: Our warranty period complies with the Australian Consumer Law, which sets out consumer rights for goods and services. This includes guarantees that goods are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match the description or sample provided.

  2. Duration of Warranty: The duration of our warranty period varies depending on the product and will be specified on the product page or in the product documentation. It is generally 12 months from the date of purchase.

  3. Warranty Claims: If you believe that your product has a defect covered under our warranty, please contact our customer service team. You will be asked to provide a copy of your purchase receipt, a description of the defect, and photographs of the product.

  4. Repairs or Replacement: Once we have reviewed your claim, if it is determined that your product is defective, we will repair or replace the product free of charge.

  5. Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We hope that this information is helpful in understanding our warranty period. If you have any questions or concerns about our warranty, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team. We're here to help you every step of the way.
